This one was a PITA! For several reasons. Maxis did a pretty good job of ensuring colors matched across all assets in this pack…. except for this column ~Le sigh~. The more orange-ish tone I use as a base is not present for this column. So that meant I had to fiddle around with the base texture to ensure it was semi-cohesive color wise, but in the end I think I managed it pretty well.

Second issue is that there’s a secondary texture (A chipped texture rather than dirty one) so it’s really 2 columns in 1 and me being the masochist completionist that I am decided “Hey I’ll do both so I can have both sets”. Oh how wrong I was. I got both files in game and only the dirty version showed up, however it had 94! color swatches. If I took out the dirty version the chipped version by itself shows up fine. I created another test version of the column and realized that the normal map for the chipped texture differs from the dirty version. I had stupidly done everything off the dirty texture not realizing the normal map would be different. So after importing the correct normal map for the chipped texture package file I thought that would fix the issue, but nope. Putting both files in still shows 97 dirty color swatches and no chipped. I’m quite lost on how to fix this issue (Suspecting it’s something in the warehouse tab somewhere because it does seem to be something code wise maybe due to how other items with multiple different swatches may work like decals). So sadly for now I can only offer the dirty version and hope that in the future I can figure out what’s causing the chipped version to not show up in game correctly. As usual delete any swatches you don’t want/need.
